On July 11th, 2022 the San Patricio County Safety Department was presented with two awards at Commissioner’s Court. Department director Sara Williams accept the award for Safety Achievement given by the Texas Association of Counties, to recognize the departments accomplishments in reaching their goals for training, incident reporting and policy standards.
The TAC Making a Difference award was presented to Safety Specialist, Sylvia Marquez in recognition of her going above and beyond to better the safety program for the county employees. Ms. Marquez was nominated by Sara Williams, and Joe Szewczyk from TAC presented the awards.
