This project was submitted to the Texas Division of Emergency Management in December of 2018, as part of the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funds appropriated by congress in response to Hurricane Harvey. For this project, San Patricio County purchase and install generators on several key buildings and equipment at the McCampbell-Porter Airport outside of Aransas Pass.
The purpose of this project is to harden county facilities, to ensure their operation in critical times, such as a disaster. This is part of an ongoing effort to ensure our facilities are prepared for whatever the county may face.
