What is CERT and MRC?
CERT is a program that educates volunteers about disaster preparedness for all hazards that may impact our area. This program that was developed and implemented by the Los Angeles City Fire Department in 1985, the program became national in 1993. Please visit https://www.ready.gov/cert for more information and to learn more about how to get involved.
MRC (Medical Reserve Corps) is a national network of more than 300,000 volunteers, organized locally, to improve the health and safety of their communities. MRC volunteers step up to keep their family, friends, and neighbors safe and healthy.
