The Kick-Off Meeting for the San Patricio County Hazard Mitigation Plan update is scheduled for January 19th (1-4PM in the Commissioner’s Courtroom at the San Patricio County Administration Annex 1301 E. Sinton St, Sinton TX 78387); next to the Appraisal District office. Those who cannot attend in person are encourage to join us online with the Commissioner’s Court Live Stream.
This will be the first of several meetings as we work to update our countywide mitigation plan. This plan serves as the guiding documents for the overall mitigation strategy throughout the county, and is a requirement for federal grant programs. The update process requires input from all of our stakeholders and partners. Please make plans to have a representative engaged throughout this update process.
We will discuss the previous plan from 2018, new and old hazards, mitigation actions, capabilities of our jurisdictions and partners, data and information needs, and a timeline for moving forward with the update of the plan. The announcement flyer and calendar invite are attached to this email.
