Please take time immediately to prepare for Tropical Depression Eight which may become Topical Storm Hanna in the next 24 hours. Under the direction of San Patricio Emergency Coordinator Sara Williams, the County’s emergency management department is preparing for high winds and heavy rains. Due to the possibility of flooding, it is recommended that all San Patricio County residents limit travel beginning late Friday afternoon. There is also the possibility of widespread power outages.

Public Health Preparedness Department reported sixty-seven (67) new cases today that areall under investigation and our hospitalization count is now one (1).The County’s confirmed COVID-19 case count will move to 624. The County’s active case count moves up to 325 as this count also denotes that eight (8) individuals were released from COVID-19 protocol. The County’s completed tests count is 2136. The County’s immediate risk of transmission is intermediate.
