We end this week with sad news from the San Patricio Department of Public Health as they are investigating into a possible third COVID related death.  Recently Dr. Mobley explained that the Public Health Department must rely on the death certificate to determine actual COVID death.  Further because there is a time lag between a death and the certification, a case is under investigation until his department receives the death certificate. Therefore, this matter remains under investigation and we will release appropriate information as it becomes available. Please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

The County’s confirmed COVID-19 case count will move to 402. The County’s active case count moves up to 159 as this count also denotes that fourteen (14) individuals were released from COVID-19 protocol. The County’s completed tests count is 1813. The County’s immediate risk of transmission is intermediate..
