Judge David Krebs issued Executive Roder DK06 on August 31st, which extends the existing mask mandate for 30 days, until September 30th, 2020. This executive order also extends the local state of disaster for the same time frame.
The This order stresses to continue the pracitices outlined in the previous orders:
- washing hands often and thoroughly
- staying 6 feet away from others
- avoiding touching the nose and face
- using disposable masks no more than 3 times
- washing reusable masks regularly to prevent virus spread
Face coverings are NOT a replacement for social distancing, frequent hand washing, and self-isolation when sick.
