Public Health Preparedness Department reported six (6) new cases since our last report on September 23, 2020. Our hospitalization count remains at zero. The County’s confirmed COVID-19 case count will move to 1466. The County’s active case count stays at 26 as this count also denotes that six (6) individuals were released from COVID-19 protocol. DSHS is reporting seventy-three (73) COVID-19 fatalities for San Patricio County at the time of this release. The County’s completed tests count is 3869. The County’s immediate risk of transmission is intermediate.
BEGINNING NEXT WEEK: Beginning the week of September 28th, The County will only post the County’s COVID-19 count on Fridays.
Reminder: Isolation is required after being diagnosed with COVID-19 in order to slow the spread of this virus. The CDC recommends isolation be maintained for at least 10 days after illness onset AND at least 3 days (72 hours) after recovery. Illness onset is the date symptoms began and recovery is the resolution of fever with improvement of other symptoms.
