Last week, San Patricio County did not receive information regarding COVID-19 case count until Friday, November 13, 2020. We have not yet received today’s numbers.
Below please find the New Cases Count in the last 14 days as of Friday 13, 2020 to help with questions relating to whether the County is eligible to opt-out of the Governor’s face covering order (GA-29). The County must go 14 days with 20 or fewer new COVID-19 cases before Judge Krebs can request an exemption from GA-29.
TDEM uses a rolling 14-day calendar. San Patricio County has received 86 new COVID-19 cases in the last 14 days. If the County is exempted from GA-29 but later exceeds the 20 new cases during a 14-day period, then the County would be required to comply with all aspects of GA-29. If after a 30 waiting period, the County once again has had fewer than 20 new COVID-19 cases (using a rolling 14-day calendar), Judge Krebs can reapply for the
exemption.
Call 361-201-0551 to reach the Center for COVID-19 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. M-F.
