San Patricio County’s COVID-19 Situation Report

Today Public Health Preparedness Manager Clara Rieder reported three (3) new cases and five (5) additional completed tests. One (1) new case is Unknown/Community Spread and the other two (2) cases are still under investigation. The County’s COVID-19 total case count is at 25 and our completed tests count is 254. The immediate risk of transmission in the County remains minimal.

The County’s active case count is at 11 as the County Public Health Department also released one (1) individual from the COVID-19 protocol as they fully recovered and one (1) case reported on Monday was found to be assigned to our County in error. The County has yet to receive the results from the Aransas Pass or Portland mobile test collection sites. Once these results are received, they will be released to the community.
